Its only me as a author for this space but the credit for the successful running of this website should go to my mother and hubby……And to my lil one who is the sole reason for this blog as I seriously started looking out for new and healthy recipes only after her birth. And to all you readers and friends who give me constructive feedback which motivates me to do more.
Other than cooking, I spend time either with my daughter else with my camera 🙂 I rarely watch TV but the only show that gets me hooked on is Airtel super singer series. I can watch the live show, retelecast and even the recorded program at a full stretch – yes kind of addicted to it esp the kids series.

Hi Sharmi,
Making your veg biryani recipe now. When reading your recipes I so miss my friends from South India — they taught me how much nicer Indian home food is than restaurant food, and I've been looking for the right recipes ever since.

Hi Sharmilee,
I love your website and the recipes, photo's. Your blog is even more interesting to read. I left CBE (my hometown) and Iam living in US San Francisco for almost 20 yrs. I love your inspirations in writing blogs and following your passions. Your website is my dairy now, i used my dairy to write receipes when I was learning cooking. I have noted down my moms recipe in dairy when I left India. Your cooking is more or less to my moms recipes taste. I have to meet you in person when I come to India if you don't mind. Nice to see you blogging about local restaurants. Keep up the good work. Proud to see a Coimbatore person doing this.
Sharmilee! :)
@Rama : Thats really touching to hear from a fellow CBE'an 🙂 Thank you so much for all those words, they made my day!! Keep trying and let me know your feedback!

I visited your site number of times, but always get confused about which dish to prepare. Everything on your site looks yum yum , yummy and delicious. I have made my mind to prepare something for this diwali from your site as my mum and mother-in-law cant visit or send me any thing(food) this diwali. When I see at your recipe list, I go" I like this ,I like this and I like that". Thanks for creating such amazing site.

Hi Sharmi,
I love your blog. I got inspired to try baking because of your blog.I don't use eggs at home, so eggless baking is what i like to do. I love the fact that your recipes are simple, with ingredients available in the kitchen cabinet.
My husband is not fond of sweets. And today I surprised him with the 2 minute chocolate cake.He was totally melted by the taste and the fact that I made it in 2 mins.
Here in US I tried a Mexican Dessert called Tres leches. I wanted to know if you could help me with the eggless version of the desert, if you find time.
Thank you for all recipes. please continue to post more eggless baking recipes. I am a fan of your blog.
Thanks,
Vaishnavi
