Cinnamon Tea is made by infusing cinnamon barks in water and boiling it. Cinnamon is used mainly as an aromatic condiment and flavouring in different dishes.
There are different variations to this cinnamon tea like having just cinnamon or adding ginger,lemon etc. You can even drink cinnamon water as such without adding any sweetner, just strain and drink.
How to make Cinnamon Tea?
To begin first add water to a sauce pan then boil it. Once it starts to boil add cinnamon sticks and let ti boil for about 10 mins until color changes. The color of water changes to light brown.Now switch off and keep covered for few mins for the flavour to step in well. Then open strain and pour into serving glass, add honey as per taste and squeeze lemon juice. Mix well and drink it warm.
What type of cinnamon to use?
Choose cinnamon which has rough surface outside which works best for this cinnamon tea. The rolled ones which has smooth surface does not have much intense flavour.
Serving:
- Serve with a dash of honey or add any sweetner of your choice.
- Serve it hot or warm.

- juice from 1/2 lemon

- Then boil it.
- Once it starts to boil rigourously add cinnamon barks.

- Close and set aside for 5-10 mins for the flavour to steep in well.
- After that, strain to serving glass.
- Add honey to taste.
- Add lemon juice to it.
- Mix well and Serve!
