I make this Ginger Tea weekly twice and sometimes with variation by adding tulsi, cardamom etc. I am sharing 2 versions of Ginger Tea – one the regular Ginger team and another one flavoured additionally with cardamom.

How to make Best Ginger Tea?
Brewing the perfect cup of tea comes by experience. During my earlier days I always end up adding more milk or more water, the boil was not enough so on and so forth. But after few trials and learnings got the knack to make perfect tea. Over the years what I have learnt is making the tea decoction perfect and boiling for the right time is the key to making tea perfectly. Therefore stick to the measures and tips given here.
Ginger Tea Ingredients
- Ginger: Use fresh ginger for a more flavourful tea. Ginger should be peeled, cut into small pieces and then crushed with mortar and pestle.
- Cardamom : Crushed cardamom or cardamom powder is used for this recipe
- Milk: Milk is optional in Ginger Tea based on your preference. If you are using milk, toned regular milk is the best – however full cream milk also could be used. Use same quantity of milk that we had used water to make decoction.
