- Corn flour – Corn flour is used to thicken the hot chocolate, but add very little.

How to make Hot Chocolate Mix Step by Step
To prepare hot chocolate mix
1.To a mixer jar add 1 cup milk powder, 1 cup icing sugar, 1/2 cup cocoa powder, 1 tablespoon corn flour, 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1 cup dark chocolate.
2.Blend it together to a fine powder.
3.Transfer to a bowl.
4.Give a quick mix. Cool down completely.
5.Transfer to an airtight container.
6.Close and store in room temperature.
To prepare Hot Chocolate
7.To a sauce pan add 1 cup milk, 1/4 homemade hot chocolate mix.
8.Give a quick mix using a whisk so that there are no lumps.
9.Boil for 2-3 minutes or until slightly thick.
10.Switch off and add 1/4 teaspoon vanilla essence.
11.Transfer to serving mug.
12.Serve hot with marshmallows.
