Masala Pav is a spicy and delicious Mumbai street food. Let us learn to make Masala Pav Recipe with step by step pictures and video.
I first tasted Masala Pav at a popular restaurant here in Coimbatore but the raw smell of tomatoes did not allow me to enjoy after that I was little hesitant to try it out at restaurants.Still my craving for masala pav kept increasing so after a year or so when we went to a exclusive North indian hotel ordered masala pav again, and the same problem so I decided not to order masala pav hereafter in restaurants / hotels. I have seen the making of masala pav once at a roadside shop and since then I wanted to taste it.
So one day when I was badly craving for some spicy food asked hubby to buy pav buns, tried it at home and enjoyed! To my surprise mittu loved it too. But my experience at both the hotels helped me to guess the taste and ingredients, its the basic ingredients we have at home except for pav bhaji masala powder.
This Masala Pav Recipe is so easy that I regret for not trying at home all these years.Do try this at home and enjoy!

Notes
- You can make it in normal tawa or kadao or frying pan too.I just wanted to try the same way they make in streets so make in dosa tawa itself.make sure you use a dosa tawa that is not used for dosa as the seasoning will go(if you make it) and you have to reseason it to get perfect dosas.
- Adjust spice powders according to your spice level, this is medium spicy.
- Squeeze lemon juice while serving.
- If you don't have pav buns you can use normal buns / bread toast it and enjoy!
