Peanut Sesame Ladoo
Ingredients
- 3/4 heaped cup peanuts
- 1/4 heaped cup sesame seeds
- 3/4 cup jaggery
- 1 whole cardamom
Instructions
- To a fry pan add peanuts, dry roast until black spots appear here and there. It starts to crack out and becomes crisp in few mins. Switch off.
- Remove the skin, rub between your palms and remove. Now break open each peanut and remove the tiny part. Now the peanuts are ready.
- Take sesame in a pan and roast till golden brown.
- To a mixer jar add roasted and cleaned peanuts, sesame seeds and jaggery. Use clean jaggery free from dirt.
- Add one whole cardamom .First grind it to coarse mixture. Do not run the mixie at a stretch, give intervals and run. Grind further and it will start to come together.
- It will look greasy as the oil will start to come out. Stop grinding at this stage. Transfer this mixture to a plate. Mix it well, break the lumps.
- Start shaping ladoo, take a fistful and start shaping.
- Make round balls and make the ladoos ready. Store in clean dry container.
- Keeps well in room temperature itself for about a week. Enjoy Peanut Sesame Ladoo!
