Ragi Pudding
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoon ragi flour
- 2 tablespoon canesugar
- 1/2 tablespoon coco powder
- 2 teaspoon choco chips
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup water
Instructions
- In a cup add water and milk. So both combined you should get 1 cup, I used 1/2 cup water and 1/2 cup milk. Set aside.
- . In a pan add ragi flour, coco powder and cane sugar.
- Whisk it well. Now add the milk water mixture.
- Whisk it well. Now switch ON the stove and keep stirring using a whisk. Cook in lowest flame possible. It will start to thicken and starts to come together. It should take at least 8-10 mins for ragi to cook fully in low flame. If not add more water.
- Add choco chips at this stage. Keep stirring and cook until thick and shiny.
- It will coat the ladle like this, this is the right stage switch off and immediately. Brush water in the bowls and pour the pudding in heat safe bowls. I poured in my ramekins. Cover it and refrigerate.
- While serving garnish with sprinklers and serve Ragi Chocolate Pudding chilled.
Notes
- It gives nice volume for 2 tablespoon ragi flour I got 3 small cups as shown in pic plus a extra tiny cup.
- Cook in low flame and keep stirring to avoid lumps.
