About Sweet Pidi Kozhukattai
Pidi means ‘to hold’ in Tamil, we usually keep the kozhukattai dough in our palm, close and press it to give an impression as you can seeso this is why it is called as pidi kozhukattai. I usually prefer the sweet kozhukattai than the savory version.Trust me, this is very easy to make without any fuss. You can even make this as a snack for kids.If you have homemade processed rice flour then that’s good else try out with readymade idiyappam flour and it works good too.

Hi Sharmi, prepared this sweet kozhukattai today for Krishna Jayanthi. Taste was too good. Perfect sweetness. But, kozhukattais were too soft. How to make it little crunchy?
Sharmilee J
Kozhukattais are meant to be soft only 🙂
