Notes

  • Cardamom - Add only green cardamom for this tea.
  • Tea powder - I usually use a mix of tea powders one for color and another for flavor and store it. You can use your choice of tea powder. If you want strong tea add 2 teaspoon and for a mild tea add only 1 and 1/2 teaspoon tea powder. Also let for a short boil for mild tea and a long boil for strong tea.
  • Milk - Use fresh full cream milk for best results. The amount of milk added is your choice. If you mild flavored tea then add 1.5 cups of milk.
  • Sugar - You can also add sugar at the final stage after switching it off.
  • Making tea - You can add tea powder directly in milk itself and make tea but be careful while adding ginger as there are chances for milk to curdle while adding directly.
