Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk boiled, cooled and chilled
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon milk powder optional
  • 2 tablespoon honey
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • a tiny pinch cinnamon powder

Instructions

  • To a mixing bowl add 1 cup boiled milk. Make sure it cooled down.
  • Add 1 tablespoon chia seeds to it.
  • Mix it well first and set aside for 1 hour in fridge.
  • Now remove from fridge add 1/4 teaspoon vanilla essence.
  • Add 1 tablespoon milk powder.
  • Add a pinch of cinnamon powder.
  • Add 2 tablespoon honey. Mix it well.
  • Give this a quick blend. I used my stick blender, if using mixer use pulse option to pulse it few times.
  • Chia Milk is ready! Chill it and serve!

Notes

  • You can use chilled milk or chill it after making and serve it chilled  with a sprinkle of cinnamon powder...yum!
  • You can replace milk with nut milk or coconut milk too.
  • You can replace honey with any of your favorite sweetener. You can add white granulated sugar or brown sugar too.
  • If you like it warm then do not chill the milk, boil cool down for a while then add and blend the ingredients. Serve immediately.
  • You can use bloomed chia seeds too.
  • You can plus or minus the quantity of chia seeds according to your preference.
  • You can use a mixer jar to blend too but use pulse option and pulse for just few times, that is enough.
  • If you like cinnamon flavor add more.
